  1. Serious: Do people on wall street talk to each other line this? My gf thinks they are professionals. I think they can act professional but there is plenty of swearing and coke and behind closed doors they lean twords acting mostly like degenerate gamblers. Who is closer to being right? How Hollywood sensationalized is this scene?

  2. They gambled plain and simple on a "sure thing" and were losing to the House. Gee, how many times do we hear about the "sure thing" and people betting everything they have? They thought they had inside information and that it was rigged in their favor, so they bet…and then they get mad? If the market didn't finally turn when it did, they could have lost all their client's money. Hedge Funds need to be more highly regulated and taxed for what it is: legalized gambling.

  3. People are stupid, and I have no faith in any system. I applied to the Moran private security firm. One of you Russians do me a solid and give me a job. I sent you an email. Thanks.

  4. What’s Ryan goslings role here? He was a middleman for Front Point? Why are they paying the premiums directly to him instead of to banks like Scion and Brownfield? Did Ryan gosling dump his position onto front point? How does he win here and not lose (like the banks)?

  5. Correct me if i'm wrong.. all of the people have different mindset, different approach, different skill set.. but they all have one thing in common.. they just want to make more & more money ever.. am i wrong or not?

  6. 3:23 "and if we're wrong… who's gonna tell us>? Who understands this stuff!? it makes no sense" – the script writers coming clean about not understanding how any one was making money on the swaps lmfao but also saying they think it doesn't matter.

  7. I love that small moment at 1:04 where in the midst of everyone freaking out, Ben tries to end the call because he has a colonic appointment and even though he’s at his wits end, Jamie can’t help but laugh.
